Retail Event Manager

 

This is a new role in our Events business and is ideally suited for an energetic and dynamic individual looking to lead a new division of our business.  The role will include lots of travel and some unsociable hours but it will also allow the individual to see many different parts of the UK and beyond – no week will be the same!

 

This is an amazing opportunity for an individual to build, develop and lead in an exciting and fast-paced environment.  This role would suit a highly motivated and organised individual.

 

Job Role

·       Plan & Schedule Events

·       Recruit & coordinate staff for events

·       Event Staff training

·       Coordinate Bookings including Health & Safety Admin for events

·       Coordinate Marketing & Promotion of events

·       Plan and build product ranges to be included for events

·       Plan & coordinate logistics for events including travel, accommodation, and equipment

·       Produce management and sales reports for events

·       Identify and develop new event opportunities

·       Grow and develop event business

·       Maximise sales/profitability for retail events

·       Plan, build, and set up events

·       Ensure adequate stock levels before and during all events

·       Travel to various locations throughout the UK

 

Skills Required

·       Retail experience desirable

·       Full driver’s license / able to drive Van to and from events (as and when required)

Customer Service Trainee

 

This is a full-time position working from our warehouse in Wallsend, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Hours will be 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.  The successful applicant will be working as part of our team providing excellent responses to customers and handling queries at the first point of contact.  There will also be a requirement to work weekends in line with the business needs, this may also involve some travel.

 

Job Role

·       Learning to apply a range of skills in order to provide an excellent level of customer service across a variety of platforms, including Phone, E-mail, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Customer Relationship Management tools, and Face to Face.

·       Learning to work effectively as part of a team as well as on own initiative, developing excellent communication skills.

·       Learning to deal with all queries in an effective and efficient way.

·       Learning how to apply different customer service personality traits to different brands and expanding upon these personalities.

·       Learning how to accurately maintain records, both manual and computerized.

·       Learning all aspects of the business to better understand the impacts of each are of the business and both their impact on customer service and customers services impact on the whole business.

·       Working at events including some sales and some administrative work.

·       Four GCSE’s or equivalent, including English and Maths or be able to demonstrate that skills and knowledge have been developed
